Wiltshire Country House
This 1:100 scale model was commissioned as a commemorative piece, celebrating the restoration of a historic Wiltshire country house. Designed as a direct representation of the client’s restored property, the model served as both a visual record of the project’s completion and a lasting tribute to its architectural history.
The model accurately captured the traditional stonework, gabled roofs, and intricate detailing, showcasing the craftsmanship and effort behind the restoration. Alongside the primary model, two smaller façade models were produced—one in full color and the other in white. These were presented to the architect and property owner as commemorative gifts, honoring their shared achievement.
Beyond their aesthetic value, these models played a key role in documenting the restoration process, providing a tangible way to reflect on the property’s transformation. They embodied not just architectural accuracy, but also the emotional significance of the project, serving as timeless mementos of the collaboration between client, architect, and craftsmen.
