Bath Townhouse
This dual-scale project captured the essence and functionality of a Georgian Bath townhouse, serving as both a planning tool and a client presentation piece. By producing models at 1:100 and 1:50 scales, we provided a versatile way to communicate the design intent to both planning authorities and stakeholders.
The 1:100 scale model featured a sectional design, showcasing the intricate facade and internal layout. It included two interchangeable basement extension options, allowing stakeholders to visualize different configurations and assess their impact on the existing structure and surrounding area.
The 1:50 scale model focused on the townhouse’s iconic Georgian architecture, crafted as a commemorative facade-only piece for the client. This version emphasized the historical significance and character of the property, acting as both a keepsake and a key presentation tool.
These models simplified complex architectural plans into a tangible, visually compelling format, making it easier to communicate with planning committees, investors, and clients. For a historically significant property, they bridged the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern design goals, ensuring all stakeholders could fully appreciate the vision behind the project.
